PowerPoint Presentation
Speakers will have approximately thirty to forty (30-40) minutes to present their material (including 5-10 minutes for questions) unless otherwise specified.
Here are a few tips to ensure a viewer-friendly presentation.
- Please use either a Tahome or Arial font on all slides.
- The program used is Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Remember if it takes longer than 3 seconds for a viewer to understand and assimilate what is on your slide, then there is too much information.
- Keep words on your slides to a minimum, using bullet points.
Please email your presentation by Friday, 30th April 2010 to the Event Coordinator, but remember to bring a backup copy (either on a disc or portable USB drive).
Please note - if your presentation has any special effects including video, sound, animation, etc. please let me know ahead of time so that we can coordinate with the on-site AV staff to prevent any last-minute complications.
SPEAKER REGISTRATION
Though speakers and panel session contributors are given complimentary access to the conference, we need you to formally register using the “speaker” option so that we can maintain accurate attendance records.
